A late-model Cadillac sustained serious rear-end damage when it was struck from the rear by a pickup truck about 7 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Iowa Highways 141 and 144.
One person was transported from the scene to the Dallas County Hospital with a complaint of neck pain.
The circumstances leading to the collision are unknown at present. Both vehicles appeared to be traveling westbound on Iowa Highway 141, and both came to rest in the intersection with First Avenue (Iowa Highway 144).
The Perry Police Department is investigating the incident at this hour.
The Dallas County EMS also responded.
