Car crashes into house in Minburn early Saturday

A vehicle left the roadway of northbound U.S. Highway 169 in Minburn early Saturday and crashed through a fence and into a garage.

The Dallas County Sheriff’s office is releasing no information about the incident at this hour, including the number and condition of victims.

The crash occurred shortly before 3 a.m. in the rear of 318 Walnut St. and caused extensive damage to the vehicle and the residential property.

A 21-year-old male was found conscious and breathing at the wheel of the overturned vehicle when law enforcement arrived on the scene, according to public safety radio traffic.

The Dallas County Sheriff’s office is investigating the mishap at this hour.

The Walnut Street house is owned by Clayton and Jordan Chambliss.

The Minburn First Responders, Minburn Volunteer Fire Department and Dallas County EMS also responded.
