A two-vehicle collision on First Avenue at North Street about 4 p.m. Friday left one person with a laceration to the head.
The injury was not life threatening, and the victim was treated at the scene by the Dallas County EMS.
The collision involved a four-door passenger car and a passenger minivan.
The car sustained significant front-end damage and came to rest pointing northward in the middle of First Avenue.
The minivan sustained significant damage in the center of the driver’s side and came to rest pointing eastward on North Street on the west side of First Avenue.
The accident is under investigation by the Perry Police Department.
The Perry First Responders, Perry Volunteer Fire Department and Dallas County EMS also responded.
