A combine caught fire midway between Bouton and Woodward about 10:45 a.m. Saturday, bringing firefighters from the Woodward Volunteer Fire Department and the Perry Volunteer Fire Department to the scene.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
The implement was being operated in the 12600 block of Quinlan Avenue on a 29-acre field owned by the Mervin H. Hansen Family Trust, according to county records.
Firefighters controlled the blaze, which presumably started when crop dust ignited.
