A man, woman, 8-month-old baby and three dogs in a cage were crossing Beaver Creek on U.S. Highway 169 Saturday about 9 p.m when their vehicle struck a deer crossing the highway.
There were no injuries in the incident.
The vehicle appeared to be traveling northbound and came to rest on the east side of the roadway near 128th Place. The front-passenger side of the car sustained significant damage.
The Dallas County Sheriff’s office, Dallas County EMS and Bouton Volunteer Fire Department responded.
The family, including their three small, white dogs, perhaps Bichon Frises, were provided courtesy transportation to Perry by the Dallas County EMS.
