Hunter Rio Randall Keasey, 22, of Dallas Center was arrested Saturday on a charge of third-degree harassment.

A Dallas Center man was arrested on a Dallas County warrant Saturday in connection with a November incident in Adel in which he allegedly did “annoy, alarm and harass” a juvenile jogger.

Hunter Rio Randall Keasey, 22, of 25431 N Ave., Dallas Center, was charged with third-degree harassment.

The incident occurred about 4:30 p.m. Nov. 22 in the 300 block of S. 11th Street in Adel, where Keasey and “two other subjects” saw a juvenile female “running alone on the bike path,” according to court records.

The victim told officers of the Adel Police Department that she heard Keasey “and one of his friends yell at her, saying things such as, ‘Oh, look at that one. You’re not going to let that pretty little thing get away are you? She can’t run that fast anyways,'” according to court records.

The victim said that Keasey then “got into a runner’s starting position,” and she “believed he was going to chase after her,” according to court records, causing the victim “such
alarm that she had to run away” from Keasey “through town until she could safely stop to call for a ride.”

A warrant for Keasey’s arrest was ordered Jan. 7 in Dallas County District Court and served Jan. 8. Keasey was held in the Dallas County Jail prior to his release on his own recognizance. He is scheduled for a hearing Jan. 28 in Dallas County District Court.
