Dallas County COVID-19 deaths at 64; positive cases reach 7,738

DES MOINES, Iowa — Data from the Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) indicate total COVID-19 deaths statewide in Iowa stood at 3,745 at about 10 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 27, an increase of 156 deaths since Dec. 20. In Dallas County, 64 deaths have been reported, up from 62 on Dec. 20.

The total for positive cases statewide stands at 275,299, a seven-day increase of 8,048 positive cases. Positive cases in Dallas County number 7,738, an increase of 255 in seven days.
