- Ashley Frey of Dallas Center was traveling north in the 26000 block of N Avenue when a deer entered the roadway. Frey slowed her vehicle, which was struck from the rear by a vehicle driven by Curtis Sellers of Panora. No injuries were reported. Damage to Frey’s vehicle was estimated at $3,000, and damage to Sellers’ vehicle was estimated at $1,500.

- Joseph Allen Cunningham, 30, of 6821 Shaffee Rd., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
- Alexander Elijah Fagen, 26, of 110 S.E. Booth Ave., Waukee, was arrested near the intersection of S.E. Satinwood and S.E. Kingwood, Waukee, for possession of a controlled substance and dark windows.
- Ryan Craig Stroud, 20, of 475 Laurel St., Waukee was arrested on a warrant for violation of parole on an original charge of trafficking stolen weapons.
- John Angel Parra, 26, of 1408 Otley Ave., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of possession of a controlled substance.
- William Dennis Nicolaisen, 42, of 12879 Houston Ave., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while license suspended.
April 14, 2019
- Nathan Lauterbach of Van Meter was slowing for a stop sign at the intersection of Old Portland Road and 360th Street when a vehicle driven by Spencer Vandeberg of Adel began to slide on the gravel, striking the driver’s side of Lauterbach’s vehicle. No injuries were reported. Damage to Vandeberg’s vehicle was estimated at $5,000, and damage to Lauterbach’s vehucle was estimated at $3,000.
- Trudie Lynn Robb, 37, of 6600 S.W. 15th St., Des Moines, was arrested at 23232 X Ave. for going armed with intent, possession of drug paraphernalia, disorderly conduct, criminal mischief, domestic abuse assault-displaying or use of weapon and carrying weapons-knife used in crime.
- Robert Warren Holmberg, 25, of 912 Main St., Norwalk, was arrested at 1406 Cherry St. in Dallas Center for willful injury causing bodily injury and assault causing bodily injury.
- Danny Wayne Edward, 31, of 8185 Franklin Ave., Clive, was arrested at 1406 Cherry St. in Dallas Center for willful injury causing bodily injury and assault causing bodily injury.
- Trenton Lyle Ripperger, 23, of 716 E Buchanan St., Winterset, was arrested at 1406 Cherry St. in Dallas Center for willful injury causing bodily injury and assault causing bodily injury.
- Ethan Parker Black, 19, of 1599 Highway 169, Winterset, was arrested at 1406 Cherry St. in Dallas Center for willful injury causing bodily injury and assault causing bodily injury.
April 15, 2019
- Nicholas K. Clayton, 29, of 502 E. Fourth St., Woodward, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while license denied.
- Nicholas Scott Stilwell, 33, of 602 State St., Guthrie Center, was arrested in the 20000 block of Lexington Lane in Minburn for violation of a no-contact order.
