- Katherine Shield of Earlham was driving on I Avenue near the U.S. Interstate 80 interchange when her vehicle was struck by a vehicle, driven by Joyce Button of Adel. No injuries were reported. Damage to Shield’s vehicle was estimated at $15,000, and damage to Button’s vehicle was estimated at $15,000. Button was issued a citation for failure to obey stop sign and yield right of way.

- Ronnie Hayes, 48, of 760 N.E. Horizon Dr., Waukee, was arrested on a warrant for five counts of purchase/possess depiction of minor in a sex act.
- Sunset Gifford, 40, of 950 67th St., West Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.
