- Olestine Niyongabire of Des Moines was traveling in the 15500 block of Iowa Highway 141 Diagonal when she lost control of her vehicle, and it enter the ditch and rolled, striking a utility pole. Niyongabire was transported to Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines by the Dallas County EMS. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $8,000.
