- Taylor James Altemeier, 21, of 7017 Rocklyn Circle, Urbandale, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a probation violation on an original charge of assault with a dangerous weapon.

- Darrick Jones of 1007 Eighth St., Dallas Center, reported the theft of money from his truck parked at this address.
December 18, 2017
- Lily Bejarno of Dallas Center was traveling south on 10th Street in Dallas Center and failed to yield to a vehicle traveling east on Vine Street and driven by Sarah Hoidahl of Dallas Center. No injuries were reported. Damage to Bejarno’s vehicle was estimated at $800, and damage to Hoidahl’s vehicle was estimated at $3,000. Bejarno was cited for failure to yield.
