- Alec Joseph McFarlin, 21, of 2701 Hull Ave., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for prohibited acts-possession of marijuana.

- John Wesley Reed, 42, of 1656 Havana St., Aurora, Colo., was arrested on a warrant for probation violation on an original charge of controlled substance violation.
December 16, 2016
- Collin Thomas O’Donnell, 23, of 624 W. Briarknoll Ct., Saukville, Wis., was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear for arraignment on an original charge of possession with intent to deliver marijuana.
- Daniel May of Redfield was traveling north in the 35000 block of South Old Highway 6 when he tried to avoid another vehicle and entered the ditch, striking a U.S. Highway 6 DOT sign. No injuries were reported. There was no damage to the vehicle, anddamage to the sign was estimated at $300.
- Sara Polzin of Perry was traveling in the 25000 block of Iowa Highway 141 when her vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $6000.
- Matthew Paul Gourd, 31, of 2125 Indianola Ave., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for theft and possession of a theft-detection removal device.
December 18, 2016
- Daniel John McCool, 57, of 1224 63rd St., West Des Moines, was cited and released in the 35000 block of Ute Avenue for driving while suspended.
