- Mike Richards of Perry was traveling eastbound on Iowa Highway 44 and was proceeding through the intersection at J Avenue when Christopher Cook of Linden failed to see the stop sign on J Avenue in the fog, and his vehicle collided with Richards’ vehicle. Richards and a passenger were transported to the Dallas County Hospital by Dallas County EMS. Cook was treated at the scene by Dallas County EMS. Damage was estimated at $5,000 to each vehicle. Cook was issued a citation for failure to obey stop sign.
