- Richard Greenwood of 323 N.W. Fourth St., Stuart, reported a log splitter and generator were missing from property at 31749 G Trail.
- Brittney Mesch of Redfield was traveling south on El Paso Avenue when her vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $9,000.
January 6, 2018
- Michael Wright of 905 S.E. Polk St., Panora, reported a 42-inch flat-screen TV missing from property he has been renovating at 12530 270th St. in Linden.
- Angel Javier Sanchez, 27, of 2917 Franklin Ave., Des Moines, was arrested at 17237 358th Place in Earlham for interference with official acts and driving while license suspended.
- Brian Scheppers, owner of Drill It Inc., reported items taken from his shop on the back of his property.
- Alisha Ann Mills, 28, of 1720 Prairie St., Adel, was arrested at 712 Cottage St. in Adel for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of contraband in a correctional facility, failure to affix drug stamp and driving while barred.
- Michael Todd Boyt, 39, of 1202 11th St., West Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.
