- Samuel Mathias Canfield, 23, of 1039 Mason Ave., Des Moines, was arrested at 1203 Guthrie St. in De Soto for public intoxication and failure to maintain control after striking a curb then fleeing from the accident. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $2,000, and damage to the De Soto Kum and Go property was estimated at $5,000.
- Melissa Ceron of Linden was traveling in the 14000 block of 270th Street when she lost control in a curve, and the vehicle slid sideways and entered the ditch, where is came to rest. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $2,000.
- Makayla Reynolds of Linden was traveling in the 22000 block of Quinlan Avenue when she lost control on the snow-covered road, and the vehicle entered the ditch. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $3,000.
