July 20, 2020
- Jal Dual Bijiek, 21, of 2116 Grand Ave., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation on original charges of first-degree burglary, third-degree burglary and robbery.
- Lubertha McClairen of West Des Moines was traveling north in the 26000 block of N Avenue and slowing down with her turn signal on to turn left when a vehicle driven by Steven Hoyle of Perry struck her from the rear. No injuries were reported. Damage to McClairen’s vehicle was estimated at $10,000, and damage to Hoyle’s vehicle was estimated at $500. Hoyle was issued a citation for failure to stop in an assured clear distance.

- Jairon Estuardo Alvarado, 34, of 1600 Linden St., Granger, was arrested at this address for assault.
- Gregory Alan Nath, 51, of 915 W. Second St., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for violation of a no-contact order.
