- Nicole Trost of Indianola was traveling north on Ute Avenue when she saw a vehicle, driven by Joshua Curnes of Waukee, pull up to the stop sign on Crosscreek Road and come to a stop. Curnes then slowly pulled out onto Ute Avenue, due to several trash cans on the side of the intersection, and saw Trost’s vehicle but was unable to back up to avoid a collision. No injuries were reported. Damage to Trost’s vehicle was estimated at $6,000, and damage to Curnes’ vehicle was estimated at $4,000.
- Gerardo Gonzalez Rios of Perry was traveling west on Iowa Highway 141 in the left lane when he was struck by a vehicle that had turned onto Iowa Highway 141 and was driven by Celsa Ponce of Perry. No injuries were reported. Damage to Gonzalez Rios vehicle was estimated at $2,000, and damage to Ponce’s vehicle was estimated at $2,000.
