- Salvatore Frank Politi of 4502 Vinton St., Omaha, was traveling east on U.S. Interstate 80 when he made an improper lane change, causing his vehicle to sideswipe a vehicle driven by Lisa Jo Theisen of 1126 N.W. Wagner Blvd., Ankeny. No injuries were reported. Estimated damage to Politi’s vehicle was $5,000 and estimated damage to Theisen’s vehicle was $8,000.

- Jesse Dean Siglin of 308 Lucinda St., Perry, was traveling eastbound in the 240000 block of Iowa Highway 141 when he struck a deer that entered the roadway. No injuries were reported. Estimated damage to the vehicle was $3,500.
- Darold Dwight Baker, 21, was arrested in 31000 block of U.S. Highway 6 for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia and was issued a citation for an open container of alcohol.
