July 5, 2019
- Diane Elaine Edwards, 62, of 108 W. North St., Winterset, was arrested on a warrant for driving while license denied.
- Aaron Gibson of Johnston was stopped at the intersection of Iowa Highway 141 and 190th Street when he moved forward to turn right but saw another car coming and stopped again. Tanner Mueller was behind Gibson and thought he was pulling out and ended up rear-ending him. No injuries were reported. Damage to Mueller’s vehicle was estimated at $4,000, and damage to Gibson’s vehicle was estimated at $3,000.
July 6, 2019
- Nazir Coffie, 18, of 2801 First Ave., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear for pretrial conference on an original charge of driving while license is under suspension.
- David Roberts of West Des Moines was traveling south on U.S. Highway 169 near Fairgrounds Road when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $4,000.
