- William Verdoorn of Des Moines was traveling eastbound in the 17000 block of westbound Iowa Highway 141. When an oncoming vehicle approached, Verdoorn took evasive action and entered the ditch, where his vehicle rolled. He declined treatment after being evaluated at the scene by Dallas County EMS. Damage was estimated at $15,000. Verdoorn was issued a citation for failure to maintain control.
- Ryan Zeroni, 44, of 1291 E. Bell Ave., Des Moines, was arrested for possession of contraband in a correctional institution.
- Edward Miller, 35, of 31635 Ashworth Road, Waukee, was arrested for domestic abuse assault, possession of a controlled substance and child endangerment–bodily injury.
- Carl D. Kite, 44, of 70 Thayer St., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft.

- Garrett Riley, 29, of 2572 213th Trail, Lakeside, Nebraska, was arrested on a warrant for second-degree fraudulent practice.
- Shelby Huebert of Denison was traveling eastbound in the 19000 block of Iowa Highway 141 when her vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $1,500.
June 27, 2021
- Bryan Searcy, 50, of 306 Kellogg Ave., Dallas Center, was arrested for second-offense OWI and issued a citation for speeding and open container.
- Jereamy Rice, 43, of 307 S.W. Seventh St., Stuart, was arrested for driving while barred.
- Deng Malith Mayer Majok Deng, 34, of 402 E. Boone St., Marshalltown, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of possession of a controlled substance.
- Dale E. Creech, 70, of 1004 Laurel St., Dallas Center, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear n an original charge of driving while license denied, suspended, cancelled or revoked.
- Joseph M. Staley, 22, of 411 S. Hazel St., Van Meter, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of possession of a controlled substance.
- Adam Ohrt of West Des Moines was driving in the 12000 block of U.S. Highway 169 when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $7,000.
June 28, 2021
- Roberta Carpenter of Bridgewater was driving in the 29000 block of El Paso Avenue when her vehicle struck hit a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $3,000.
