- Heather Linn Armstrong, 26, of 615 S.W. Seventh St., Stuart, was arrested on a warrant for violation of probation on an original charge of theft.
- Cade Obryan Long, 30, of 1 River Vista Dr., Adel, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation on an original charge of driving while barred.
- Alan Michael Ward-Well, 33, of 130 E. Kirkwood Ave., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for forgery.
- Troy Matthew Wanninger, 36, of 203 14th St., Dallas Center, was arrested at 13th and Vine streets in Dallas Center for driving while suspended.
- Michael Smith of 20 Ash St., Windham, N.H., reported property he owns at 18499 250th St. in Adel was broken into.
- Brandon James of 111 Jefferson St., Bouton, reported a burglary in progress. He said the suspects left in a red pickup truck. Taken were two exterior security cameras on the residence. Mathew Guzman, 19, of 723 Second St., Perry; Edwin Ochao Melena, 25, of 728 S. 17th St., Ft. Dodge; and Kayln Cooklin, 19, of 107 Lovejoy St., Rippey, were arrested for theft.
- Kinsey Ostendorf of Dallas Center was traveling north in the 25000 block of N Avenue when she was unable to stop for stopped traffic, and her vehicle swerved across the southbound lane, entered the ditch and struck a Century Link fiber optic box. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $4,000, and damage to the fiber optic box was estimated at $3,500. Ostendorf was issued a citation for failure to stop in assured clear distance.
- Carlos Artero of 1502 Dewey St., Perry, reported damage to his vehicle while parked in the Tyson Fresh Meats parking lot at 13500 I Court in Perry.
June 2, 2018
- Charles Onnen of Perry was traveling on Iowa Highway 141 when he lost control of his vehicle as it was coming down the hill on Hull Ave and entered the ditch, rolling over onto its side. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $3.000. Onnen was issued a citation for failure to maintain control.
- Daniel Moyer of Kalamazoo, Mich., was traveling near the 104 mile marker of U.S. Interstate 80 when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $4,000.
- Christina Lynn Owens, 32, of 1028 Shagbark Dr., Nevada, Iowa, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of theft.
- Jodi Jolene Hansen, 38, of 815 E. 25th St., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of OWI.
- Nikki Reha of 1402 Sycamore St., Dallas Center, reported the theft of her son’s bicycle from the front porch.
- Keith Rosenbaum, 47, of 503 Warford St., Perry, was cited and released in the 18000 block of 141st Street for driving while suspended.
- Elijah Canfield of 918 Dallas St., Dexter, reported the theft of a weapon from his truck while parked on his property.
- Amanda Lynn Sturtz, 29, of 900 Walnut St., Dallas Center, was arrested on two warrants on original charges of no valid driver’s license and failure to give notice of address or name change. Sturtz was also arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

- Seth Ryan Webb, 22, of 1440 250th St., Garwin, was arrested at the 118 mile marker of U.S. Interstate 80 for OWI and failure to maintain control.
- Justin Lee Whipple, 28, of 913 Willis Ave., Perry, was arrested at 615 Chestnut St. in Minburn for OWI and open container.
- Debra Ann Bloch, 53, of 1800 S.E. Prairie Creek, Waukee, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of compulsory education violation.
- Andrew Filean of Waukee was traveling in the 21000 block of 240th Street when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $4,500.
