- John Beavers of Panora was traveling on Iowa Highway 44 when his vehicle struck a turkey. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $2,000.
March 15, 2024
- Cesar Magana, 20, of 1007 Dewey Ave., Perry, was arrested for violation of a no-contact order and issued citations for speeding, no insurance and driving while suspended.
March 16, 2024
- Fajko Garibovic, 48, of 649 49th St., Des Moines, was arrested for OWI and open container.
