- Travis Herman of Dexter was traveling east in the 21000 block of Old Highway 6 when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $3,500.
March 1, 2018
- Charles Edward Lee, 41, of 1105 11th St., West Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for contempt of court on a show-cause hearing.
- Philip Kay of Adel was traveling in the 32000 block of N Avenue when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $3,000.
- Caroline Owens of Ottumwa was traveling in the 26000 block of N Avenue when her vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $5,000.
- Eric Mahoney of Stuart was traveling in the 16000 block of Old Highway 6 when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $3,000.
- Nicole Kay Palmer, 36, of 300 Second Ave., Jamaica, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear for plea and sentencing on original charges of possession of methamphetamine and marijuana.
