- Elisa Kpurukooof Des Moines driving a school bus north in the 31000 block of Ute Avenue when a vehicle southbound on Ute Avenue and driven by Tricia Nees of Waukee crossed over the center line, first striking the entire left side of the bus and then striking a motorcycle driven by Eric Stout of Waukee. Stout was taken to Iowa Methodist with injuries. No other injuries were reported. Damage to Nees’ vehicle was estimated at $10,000, damage to Kpurukoo’s was estimeted at $5,000 and damage to Stout’s vehicle was estimated at $10,000. Nees was issued a citation for failure to yield half of the roadway.

- Anthony Mario Knapp, 53, of 1312 1/2 Prairie St., Adel, was arrested on a warrant for domestic abuse assault.
*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
