November 9, 2018

  • Cynthia Carpenter of Minburn was traveling in the 23000 block of Iowa Highway 44 when she lost control and her vehicle slid sideways, striking the guard rail and spinning around and again hitting the rail. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $5,000.
  • Anthony Blair of Adel was traveling south in the 34000 block of Old Portland Road when her vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $2,000.
  • Dennis Sellner of Panora was traveling in the 26000 block of U.S. Highway 169 when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $5,000.
  • Rexanne Elizabeth Chapman, 55, of 2523 Perry Park Ave., Perry, was arrested in the 23000 block of Old Highway 6 for driving while license revoked and failure to provide proof of financial liability.

November 11, 2018

  • Tad Alan Duhn, 35, of 23 North St., Hartford, Iowa, was arrested on a warrant for willful injury causing bodily injury.
  • Michael Kuhns of Dexter was traveling near the 104 mile marker of U.S. Interstate 80 when his vehicle struck an overpass bridge pillar. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $1,600. Kuhns was issued a warning for failure to provide insurance.

November 12, 2018

  • Anthony Charles Kennedy, 36, of 802 W. Lincoln Way, Jefferson, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of operating a vehicle without owner’s consent.
  • Nathan James Spinden, 27, of 104 14th St., Dallas Center, was arrested at 900 Sycamore St. in Dallas Center for driving while barred.

November 13, 2018

  • Ian Leif Minnihan, 23, of 612 Locust St., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of theft.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
