- Jean Ishmael of Peru was traveling north in the 32000 block of U.S. Highway 169 and Billy Smith of Fort Dodge was traveling south. As the two vehicles met, the left rear wheel on Ishmael’s vehicle came off and struck Smith’s vehicle. No injuries were reported. Damage to Smith’s vehicle was estimated at $1,500. No damage was reported to Ishmael’s vehicle.

- Kevin Wade Irvin, 57, of 725 Laurel St., Minburn, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of theft.
October 20, 2018
- Danielle Lorraine Thurman, 45, of 2940 E. Washington Ave., Des Moines, was arrested in the 19000 block of Iowa Highway 141 Diagonal for domestic assault causing injury.
- Ross William Mulcahy, 36, of 1542 Burr Oaks Dr., West Des Moines, was arrested in the 31000 block of 335th Street for OWI and failure to maintain control.
- Cole Anthony Mallas, 21, of 436 First St., Boone, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation on original charges of assault with intent of injury and criminal mischief.
- Brian Knowles of Redfield was traveling on ElPaso Way just south of Old Highway 6 when his vehicle left the roadway. No injuries were reported. Knowles was issued a citation for failure to maintain control and failure to provide proof of financial liability.
- Randall Kanis of Cumming was traveling in the 35000 block of Maffit Lake Road when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $1,500.

- Cody Rae Payne, 44, of 118 S. 13th St., Adel, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of assault.
