- Kyle Stone of Waukee was traveling north in the 24000 block of U Avenue when the rear tire blew out on his motorcycle, and he lost control of the vehicle, which entered the ditch. Stone was taken to Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines by Waukee EMS. Damage to the motorcycle was estimated at $6,000.
October 23, 2018
- Joshua Noftsger of Clive was stopped behind a vehicle that was turning in the 26000 block of 240th Street when his vehicle was rear ended by a vehicle driven by Devon Keller of Dallas Center. No injuries were reported. Damage to Keller’s vehicle was estimated at $2,500, and and damage to Noftsger’s vehicle was estimated at $4,000. Keller was issued a citation for failure to stop in an assured clear distance.
