  • Kelby J. Redmond, 28, of 609 E. Jefferson St., Winterset, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Vehicles driven by Anna Lehocz of West Des Moines and Benjamin Stone of Perry were involved in a collision at the intersection of Iowa Highway 44 and W Avenue. Each vehicle was stopped at a stop sign, and both proceeded into the intersection when one vehicle turned into the path of the other vehicle, causing the collision. No injuries were reported. Damage to Lehocz’s vehicle was estimated at $3,000, and damage to Stone’s vehicle was estimated at $1,000 damage.
  • Benjamin Peterson of Newton was traveling on Iowa Highway 141 near I Court when a vehicle driven by Karen Lemus Soriano of Perry pulled out from a stop sign in front of Peterson’s vehicle, and the collision occurred. No injuries were reported. Damage to Peterson’s vehicle was estimated at $3,000, and damage to Lemus Soriano’s vehicle was estimated at $3,000. Lemus Soriano was issued a citation for a stop sign violation and driving while license is suspended.
  • Roy Gresham of Jonesville, Louisiana, was driving east in the 31000 block of 360th Street when his vehicle struck a deer. No injries were reported. Damage was estimated at $10,000.
  • Chase Gustafson of Dexter was traveling in the 25000 block of 347th Street when he failed to navigate a turn, and his vehicle entered the ditch, No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $1,400.
