The first phase of the renovations at Dewey Field and Kaufman Track received a boost Thursday as 21st Century Rehab made a $1,000 donation to the Perry High School Foundation in support of the project.

Dr. Clint Lutterman, Rehab Director at Dallas County Hospital, said the choice of backing the facility improvements was an easy one.

“To demonstrate to our employees the importance of giving back to our communities, and in the Christmas spirit, 21st Century Rehab gave $1,000 to each clinic to contribute to a local organization or charity of their choice,” longtime Perry trainer Clint Lutterman said. “Since we have such a great relationship with the school, our clinic wanted to give back financially and support this project.”

Headquartered in Nevada, 21st Century Rehab operates outpatient locations in Altoona, Carlisle, Indianola and Madrid.

Dallas County Hospital is one of seven hospital locations for the company, with others located at Franklin General Hospital in Hampton, Greene County Medical Center in Jefferson, Knoxville Hospitals and Clinics, Story County Medical Center in Nevada, Van Diest Hospital in Webster City and Wayne County Hospital in Corydon.
