A driver was injured Saturday afternoon after her SUV collided with a pickup truck on First Avenue near Iowa Highway 141.
The collision occurred shortly after 12:30 p.m. in the 400 block of northbound Iowa Highway 144, where a Chevrolet Equinox struck the rear of a GMC pickup truck, according to a witness of the incident.
The driver of the Equinox complained of pain caused by the seat belt, according to public safety radio traffic. The Dallas County EMS treated the victim at the scene.
The Perry Police Department and Perry First Responders also responded.
