A driver lost control of her vehicle on Iowa Highway 141 near Iowa Street about 1:20 a.m. Saturday, and law enforcement concluded the driver was not impaired but tired after a long day at work.
A caller first reported an irratic driver traveling westbound from the Woodward exit on Iowa Highway 141 about 1:15 a.m. The caller said the vehicle was crossing the center line and driving on the shoulder.
Patrolling officers of the Perry Police Department put themselves is position to intercept the vehicle, which entered the ditch on the north side of the highway between Willis Avenue and Iowa Street.
The driver was not injured in the incident, and an officer transported the overtaxed laborer to her residence in Perry.
