UPDATE: Family finds teen safe and sound in Perry

Brooklyn DeKoter, 17, left her home in Grimes about 1 p.m. Friday and is thought to be in the company of friends in Perry. Anyone with information about DeKoter's whereabouts is asked to call the Perry Police Department at 515-465-4636.

A Grimes teenager was found Saturday afternoon after she was missing about 24 hours.

Brooklyn DeKoter, 17, left her home in Grimes about 1 p.m. Friday and was found in Perry.
