H and W Recycling and the city of Perry will host the annual appliance and scrap metal collection Saturday, June 10 from 8 a.m. until noon at the Perry Recycling Center, 14325 Ivy Place.
Scrap metal and junk appliances will be accepted at no cost. Click here to see a list of acceptable items.
TVs and computer monitors will be accepted for a fee ranging from $15 to $30.
Some items will not be accepted, including appliances filled with food, carpeting, wood furniture, chemicals or paint, water softeners, alkaline batteries, propane tanks, plastics, garbage or tires.
Personnel will be on hand to assist with the unloading.
