A fire broke out in the attached garage at a home at 19217 150th St. shortly before 10 a.m. Sunday, and firefighters with the Perry Volunteer Fire Department are working at this hour to prevent the fire’s spreading to the house.
There were no known injuries in the blaze, which apparently started while the homeowners were away.
The two-story, 3,100-square-foot house, which lies south of the city limits of Perry, is owned by Jim and Sandy Eaton of Perry, according to county records.
The cause of the fire in unknown at this hour.
The Perry Police Department, Perry First Responders, Dallas County Sheriff’s office and Dallas County EMS also responded.
