- A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on A Avenue north of 165th Street.
- A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on A Avenue near 330th Street.
- A deputy investigated a verbal domestic in the 900 block of N. 11th Street in Grand Junction.
- The sheriff and a deputy responded to a garage fire in the 500 block of Jay Street in Churdan. The Churdan Volunteer Fire Department responded and put the fire out. The fire was caused by a chimney fire.
January 2, 2018
- A deputy tried to locate a cow running at large on 130th Street just east of Paton.
- A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on U Avenue just south of Rippey.
- A deputy located a power line down in the ditch on 280th Street near R Avenue.
