January 5, 2018

  • A deputy removed a deer from the roadway on 220th Street near J Avenue.
  • A deputy assisted with a medical call in the 400 block of 11th Street.
  • Jami Stupka, 27, of Webster City was booked into the jail to serve a sentence.
  • A deputy investigated a criminal mischief complaint in the 1800 block of 232nd Street.
  • The sheriff and deputies conducted a search warrant in the 3400 block of 390th Street in Lohrville. Stolen property and a stolen trailer were located.
  • A deputy investigated a driving complaint on Neola Avenue near 330th Street.
  • A deputy investigated a two-vehicle accident. William Wright, 37, of Scranton was driving a 2014 Dodge Ram, and Janelle Brophy, 17, of Jefferson was driving a 1999 Buick Lesabre. Wright did not see Brophy turning and struck her car. The Buick was a total loss. Wright’s truck had an estimated $3,500 damage.
  • A deputy investigated a civil issue in the 2200 block of M Avenue.
  • A deputy tried to locate a dog running at large in the 100 block of East Street in Dana.
  • A deputy assisted a motorist on N Avenue near 140th Street.

January 6, 2018

  • A deputy assisted with a medical call in the 400 block of Ninth Street in Grand Junction.
  • Jonathan Rosado, 26, of Jefferson was booked into the jail for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.
  • A deputy investigated a complaint of four-wheelers on the roadway in the 1900 block of 305th Street.
  • A deputy investigated a careless driving complaint on 220th Street near X Avenue.
  • A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 700 block of Division Street in Grand Junction.

January 7, 2018

  • A deputy assisted with a medical call in the 800 block of E.t Hager Street in Grand Junction.
  • A deputy investigated a car-deer accident on 220th Street near Oakland Avenue. David Tipton, 56, of Jefferson struck a deer with a 2013 Nissan Altima, causing an estimated $4,500 in damage.
  • A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 1000 block of Sandoe Street in Grand Junction.
  • A deputy investigated a criminal mischief complaint in the 800 block of Percival Street in Grand Junction.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
