- Christian Steburg, 48, of Jefferson was booked into the jail for domestic abuse assault impeding blood flow or airway.
- A deputy tried to locate cattle out on N Avenue North of 185th Street.
- Daryle Snyder, 49, of Jefferson was booked into the jail for a probation violation.
- A deputy investigated a suspicious person on U Avenue just south of Grand Junction.
February 27, 2018
- A deputy investigated an IRS scam in the 1100 block of Q Avenue. A total of 10 calls were received regarding this scam. Several deputies have received the same call, demanding money and threatening arrest or seizure of property.
- A deputy assisted with putting a cow back in the fence in the 1500 block of W Avenue.
- A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with an arrest at the Wild Rose Casino. John Martinez, 23, of Deloit was arrested on a Calhoun County arrest warrant. During the arrest, the deputy discovered drug paraphernalia and suspected controlled substances. Randa Pederson, 20, of Lake City was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

- A deputy removed a dead deer from the roadway on N Avenue and 330th Street.
