  • A deputy investigated a suspicious person on 220th Street near L Avenue.
  • A deputy assisted with a horse running at large on the roadway in the 1700 block of J Avenue.
  • A deputy investigated criminal mischief to a gravel road in the 2200 block of 120th Street.
  • A deputy conducted a welfare check in the 900 block of Main Street in Grand Junction.
  • A deputy conducted a welfare check in the 200 block of 210th Street.
  • A deputy investigated a trespass complaint in the 200 block of 16th Street N. in Grand Junction.
  • A deputy assisted a motorist on 220th Street near Forrest Avenue.
  • A deputy assisted with tree over the roadway on 237th Street near Jordan Avenue.
  • A deputy investigated a two-vehicle accident on U.S. Highway 169 near 200th Street for the Boone County Sheriff’s office. Boone County Deputy Sheriff Nathaniel Spencer was stopped and assisting a motorist in his 2019 Dodge Charger Patrol vehicle when Rickey Carlyle, 53, of Boxholm was traveling south on U.S. Highway 169 in a 2010 Chevrolet Impala, and his vehicle rear-ended the patrol vehicle. Carlyle was transported by the Boone County Ambulance with minor injuries. It is suspected that Carlyle was distracted by his cell phone. Damage to the patrol vehicle was estimated at $3,000 dollars, and damage to Carlyle’s vehicle was estimated at $3,000. The accident is under investigation.
  • A deputy investigated a civil issue in the 200 block of 19th Street S. in Grand Junction.
  • A deputy investigated a verbal domestic in the 1900 block of 130th Street.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
