A poultry house burned down Friday evening on an acreage west of Perry when a controlled burn got out of control.
No injuries were reported in the fire at 14394 150th St., which began about 7 p.m. on property owned by Bobby and Vicky Smith, according to county records.
Firefighters from the Perry and Dawson stations of the Perry Volunteer Fire Department responded and battled the blaze, which wholly engulfed the 102-year-old structure.
The Perry First Responders, Dallas County Sheriff’s office and Dallas County EMS also responded.
