Angela Hernandez, a junior at Perry High School, was recognized this week as the October 2018 Student of the Month by the Kiwanis Club of Perry.
“Angela is a model student, who demonstrates a great drive to be successful academically,” said Perry Kiwanis Club President Jeremy Winter. “She is a student who recognizes her weaknesses and strives to improve, demonstrating a strong desire to learn. Angela is someone who sees what needs to be done and does it without asking. She is always willing to help out other students and always has a smile on her face.”
Hernandez not only excels academically but is also active on the PHS cross country team and is a manager on the PHS boys soccer team.
Winter presented Hernandez with a certificate of recognition and a gift card as winner of the PHS Student of the Month for October 2018.
