Area firefighters responded to a house fire in rural Woodward Tuesday morning.
No injuries were reported in the blaze, and all people and animals successfully evacuated the house at 14182 Bittersweet Road, according to public safety radio traffic.
The blaze in the 34-year-old house was reported about 6 a.m. Tuesday. The Woodward Volunteer Fire Department responded and requested mutual aid from the Bouton Volunteer Fire Department, Granger Volunteer Fire Department, Madrid Volunteer Fire Department and Perry Volunteer Fire Department.
The property is owned by Sonia J. Peebler and Douglas E. Peebler, according to county records.
