A vehicle left the roadway shortly after midnight Saturday on Iowa Highway 210 at Main Street in Woodward, and at least two occupants were transported with injuries to Des Moines Hospitals, according to radio traffic.
The incident is under investigation by the Boone County Sheriff’s office, which would not release information about the number of vehicles involved, the number of people injured or the agencies that responded to the mishap.
The Dallas County Sheriff’s office, Woodward First Responders, Woodward Volunteer Fire Department and Dallas County EMS were also at the scene.

The Boone County Sheriff’s department should have released minimum information, such as the number of vehicles, number of injured and who responded. That is public information, and someone should admonish the department for not releasing that information to the media.
