Iowa COVID-19 deaths rise to 2,449; positive cases at 234,814

DES MOINES, Iowa — Data from the Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) indicate total COVID-19 deaths statewide in Iowa stood at 2,449 at about 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2. In Dallas County, 57 deaths have been reported.

The total for positive cases statewide stands at 224,814, including 6,530 in Dallas County.
