DES MOINES, Iowa — A two-vehicle, single-fatality collision happened in Tama County Friday, Nov. 9 at about 10:30 p.m. on Iowa Highway 30 at RR Avenue, just north of Chelsea.
The collision occurred between a black Ford F150 pickup and a FedEx semi-tractor with dual trailers.
Tamie Ann Cockrell, 38, of Van Horne, Iowa, the driver of the pickup, was killed in the collision.
The Iowa State Patrol asks that anyone who might have witnessed the collision or passed through that area of Iowa Highway 30 before officers arrived to come forward with any pertinent information.
