Perry girls varsity basketball head coach Chris Morrow resigned his position this morning after one guiding the Jayettes for one season.
Morrow also resigned from his spot coaching Lady Pure Prep Academy in Des Moines, moves that end nearly a dozen total years of coaching girls hoops.
He did not indicate any immediate future plans, saying only that he would be focusing on family and personal desires. Morrow did not rule out a return to the sidelines in the future, but that, for the time being, he was stepping away from the game.
Perry was 3-19 overall last season and 1-13 in Raccoon River Conference play. The search for a new coach will begin immediately.
