ADEL — Dallas County Auditor and Commissioner of Elections Julia Helm issued a reminder Friday, encouraging voters to confirm their voting locations prior to the Nov. 7 election day. Polling places in Dallas County are listed in the table below.

Residents of the unincorporated (rural) area of Dallas County are eligible to vote on the local option sales tax (LOST) question on the ballot. Polling locations for unincorporated (rural) citizens will be the normal polling places for primary and general elections.

Voters can verify their polling locations on the Iowa Secretary of State’s website by entering their zip codes or by calling the Dallas County Auditor’s office at 515-993-6914.

The Dallas County Auditor’s website also has full resources to assist in informing voters prior to the election, including a slate of local candidates listed by office, each city’s local option sales tax (LOST) revenue statement and a full set of sample ballots, including a sample ballot for the unincorporated area of Dallas County.
