Man found unconscious in idling SUV arrested early Monday

Emergency medical personnel examine a man found unconscious at the wheel of an idling SUV about 4:30 a.m. Monday prior to his arrest.

A man was arrested about 4:30 a.m. Monday after he was found unconscious behind the wheel of a running vehicle.

Officers of the Perry Police Department responded to a report of a man passed out at 1219 First Ave. in the parking lot of the Circle K convenience store. The officers found the man in an idling SUV.

The Perry First Responders and Dallas County EMS and examined the man’s medical condition before he was placed under arrest and transported to the Perry Police Department.

The identity of the man and the charges filed in his case have not been released at this hour.
