MINBURN, Iowa — A boil order was issued Saturday morning for the city of Minburn following a water main break.
The boil advisory will remain in effect until further notice, according to Minburn Fire Chief Dan Case.
Residents should boil their water for two minutes before use in any food preparation or beverage, including drinking water, brushing teeth, baby formula, washing and preparing food or making coffee, tea or lemonade. All stored ice cubes should be thrown out.
Unboiled water may be safely used for laundry, showering or shaving, watering grass or plants.
