The Minburn Communications team hosted a Perry Chamber of Commerce coffee Friday morning in the telephone and internet company’s newly built office building at 100 S. Main St. in Woodward.
Kristi Peterson, marketing and public relations manager for Minburn Communications led short tours of three or four people at a time from the 25 or more Chamber members attending.
The 4,000-square-foot building took just over on eyear to build and caused a temporary shift of the company’s customer services to 216 S. Main St., next to the U.S. Post Office in Woodward. All company staff members are now housed in the new Woodward facility except for one worker at the Minburn office at 416 Chestnut St., Peterson said.
The upgraded Woodward facility features offices with an abundance of natural light, a community meeting room with conferencing equipment, a demonstration area and the technicians’ “brain center,” Peterson said.
Enhancements were also made to the warehouse facility, including expanding the storage space and modernizing the facility, with a temperature-controlled environment for housing electronics and other equipment.
Improvements at the Minburn and Perry facilities are planned for future phases, she said. A A public open house was held Friday afternoon, and a shareholders meeting and ribbon cutting are scheduled for Monday, April 15.
