A Minburn man was arrested Thursday for allegedly damaging his neighbors’ property.

Loren Patrick Cramblit, 44, of 722 Chestnut St., Minburn, was charged with third-degree harassment and fifth-degree criminal mischief.

The incident began March 3, 2021, when Cramblit’s neighbors reported to the Dallas County Sheriff’s office that “one of their tires had been slashed,” and “a puncture mark in the sidewall of the tire” was visible, according to court records.

The neighbors also reported to a deputy sheriff a ongoing “neighbor dispute” with Cramblit and said that Cramblit was “upset” with his neighbors “over the sound of their truck exhaust, and there were ongoing issues,” according to court records.

Security camera footage “showed a person sneaking up to the truck and bending over next to the right rear tire” and “then quickly leaves, and the tire goes flat.”

On Oct. 25, the neighbors reported having “video of someone destroying one of their porch lights,” according to court records. The male in the video was “consistent with Cramblit’s physical appearance and approached the house from the direction of Cramblit’s residence and left in the direction of Cramblit’s residence.”

One of the neighbors also reported that Cramblit “made a finger gun and gestured to him while driving by on the roadway,” according to court records.

A deputy made contact with Cramblit and spoke to him about the incident, and Cramblit “denied having any altercation with” the neighbors and said “that he doesn’t speak to them,” according to court records.

Cramblit was held in the Dallas County Jail on a $600 cash or surety bond in advance of an initial appearance in Dallas County District Court.
